(LISTED BELOW) SUPPLEMENT TO REPORT NO. 25X1X 1, Chinese Communist regular troops in Kw ngtung, which total about 110,000, are disposed as follow: a, The 38 and 40 Armies are stationed as follo s: in the suburbs of Canton, along the Canton- lluahsien (11318, 23-29) and Canton- Tsengch'eng (11369, 23-16) highuys, and in the Honan (113-r16, 23--05) area4 b. Parts of the 42, 44, and 47 Armies are garrisoning the islands of the Pearl River estuary. c, Parts of the 42, 44, 47, and 49 Armies are on the coast near 2H~g (3.15 38 f m , eng (114-26123-05), Haifeng (115 20, 22-58), and Lu The 43 Arn r is in the coastal area near Chaoan (116--37, 23262) and Sw~atovw. e. Part of the 48 Army' is along the Canton- Hankow railvaaye 2, On 8 and 9 July TSING Sheng met with Chinese Communist officers and Soviet advisers in Huiyang.
