1,, During the period from March to May l95l~, 40 aircraft were observed on
I3alchik airfield. Of this number 35 were grin engine single tail bombers
and five were grin engine, twin fuselage, grin tail crafts The bombers
had twin blade propellers and the twin fuselage craft had three blade
propellers.
20 All craft were high wing ttipe like TU-2 models. The twin engine., twin
tail planes were painted dark green; the others were pointed white or
light yellow0 A red star with white letters was painted on both sides of
the fuselage and tail of all planes.
