Two other fighters had a light-red stripe on their rudder assemblies and the black numbers 507 and 503. The seventh aircraft had a dark-red stripe, and its number could not be seen. The eighth fighter had a yellow stripe and a black number, either 606 or 603, The other jet fighters were seen in the middle of the field, wile four jet fihters any one biplane were parked near the airfield control toner.
