Prior to November 1950, the old barracks installation west of a*olnasci
(Liberty) square,, Bielsko Biala (Q 50/X 88), quartered several company-size
units of female SP (Labor Service) personnel who were 17 or 18 years old,
They normally nerved for two r?rnths, but could volunteer for a longer period o
The SP men, who gave the impression of being well disciplined, wore
primarily assigned to work in the weaving mills and tailor shops which
manufactured military articles, such as tentcloth, field bags, rucksacks, etc.
They were given no training in the use of firearms, They wore quartered in an
installation consisting r,l four barracks buildings, a warehouse, and several
stables, *
The Artillery Pisrracks on the eastern bank of the Biala River quartered soldiers
