SUPPLEMENT TO
A new airfield is being, constructed about 1. kilometers east of Brosteni in
the Ialomita district.
On 6 June 1951, parachute exercises were carried out at the Pipers airfield;,
near Bucharest, These exercises were carried out by Rumanian soldiers under
the supervision of Soviet officers0 At this airfield there are only Soviet
troops located.
