OF ENCLS. 25X1A (LISTED BELOW) SUPPLEMENT TO 25X1 X REPORT NO. 1, The following rumors were current among the citizens of Seoul on 15 July. a. a. The North Korean Army headquarters has ordered the troop units in various areas to be prepared for a redisposition (nature uudetes- Mined) of unite, b, Approximately 50,000 North Korean troops are in the western front areas awaiting the outcome of the ICaesong negotiations and they are prepared to act in an emergency. Also, supplies are being rushed to these units. 2. Anti-Communist observers state that the majority of Seoul citizens believe that truce negotiations will fair because they feel proposals are a Communist trick designed to gain time for reorganization and supply of Chinese Communist and North Korean forces.
