On 20 June two Soviet naval vessels with the designations t0X4B1 and "X5" of the Soviet 2 Naval Squadron, in the Port Arthur Dairen area, left Dairen heading south, rounded Okinawa, and proceeded northeast along the Jana.n coast. At 7:25 p.m. on 28 June the vessel "XQ" had reached, a point near (147-n30, 40-00). At 2:20 a.m. on 29 June the vessel "X5" had arrived at a ---)oiut near (148-00, 37-30)- Both were still heading northeast at a speed.of 16 knots. 2. In early June other Soviet vessels followed the same route, eventually arriving at Vladivostok after rounding 1Iokl,ido.
