Between 11 and 13 June 1951 approximately , -troops with an artille
unit and about 200 horses moved teward Chtaoan and Swatow from Buiyang
(114-26, 23.05) en route to Haifeng (115.20, 22.58) and Lufeng (115.38, 22.58).
2. During June the entire 43 Army and most of the 47 Army formerly at Chtaoan
and Swatow moved to Tapu (116-42, 24.29), Wuhva (115-41, 24.02), Hsingning
(115.490 24-04) and Ueihsien (116.13, 24-18).1
3, Since 9 Juno units of the 3 Field Army previously reported to have moved
to Shihlung (113-51, 23.07) and Polo (114-170 23-09) from Canton have been
moving across the river at Hengli (11447, 23.10) and Huiyang toward Chtaoan

4. In late June the 49 Army still guarded the coast between Tapteng (114-32, 22-36)
and Ptinghai (114-53, 22.37). A division of the 42 Army was guarding the
coastal area of Paiwang, Pingtan and Vivian. The 53 Division, 18 Army,
was deployed along the Canton.Kow1oon highway. Its headquarters was at
Chuhsichon (sic) in the Shihlung area,
In late June the 18 and 19 Publics Security Regiments under VIU Yu.-hong
( IAL ) were stationed at Tienpai (111.21, 21.28), Yangchtun (111.426, 22.*
and Yangchiang (111.53, 21-52). These are attached to the Central Rwangtung
Uilitary Administrative Zone Command (eic).

7. In late June, 8,000 troops of the 15 Army Group in artillery, signal
engineering and transportation units with large amounts of equipment arrived
in Canton by rail. They were renorted to be moving toward Tungkuan (113.46,
23-02), Paean (112-32, 24-54), Uuiyang and Polo.
8. Since 21 June the 47 Army has boon moving from Fengshun (113.13, 23.56)
and WUhua (115-41, 24-02) to Haifeng, Lufeng, Huilai? Pluning (116.13, 23.27)
and Chiehyang (116.200 2342) for garrison duty. Artillery units of the 47
Army were moving toward the coast in the Huiyang area.
