As of 29 April approximately 220, 00 crack combat troops of the 4 Field Army had boon killed or wounded in Korea. and LIN Kee was still recuperating from wounds received in February at Sinuiju.' 2, Of aplproximately 300,000 men of the 3 Field Army, approximately 120,000 have been killed or wounded. These were replaced by an equal number of troops from the 19 Army Group. 50X1-HUM the Chinese Communists sent 701,200 combat troops into Korea, 50X1-HUM exclusive of an undetermined nudber of support troops.
