1. On 6 larch 1951 eight jet fighters and one jet fighter in ad-
dition to to single-engine nlpnes ,.Tere narked at the south-
-iestern edge and in front of the detached harrar at the northern
edge of the 'f,erbst ( 52/D 98) airfield respectively. * There
,',as no flying durinr the period from 4:15 to 5:15 p.m. A re-
volving searchlight -.ins in oneration in the evening.

2. Trucks ,,ere seen bet-een the city and
the airfield. 1-our trucks ,lith mounted searchlights of 120
to 150 cm diameter '-'ere parked south of the eastern end of the
rummy, 200 to ZOO meters apart, The search-
lights ,;ere pointing at the run-,ay.
radio installation -*as being set up north of Oollbogen near
Dobritz (n 53/: 09). ** It consisted of a ,.Tooden building
a-parently housing a radio truck, and some smaller buildihgs
south of it. To the north vias a large box, nrobably a no,-,er
unit, and nortfr'est of the -Tooden building 1-/as a mast of the
same type as that seen at the eastern end of the nurmay. The
radio installation -las connected to the no-er line --ith a three-
phase line. A t*-o-r,ire telephone line led along the toriers
of the high tension line to the noles running along the blocked
road from "iesenburg to Zerbst via the airfield.

southern edge of the zerbst airfield. * Ptlias also observed
that major construction -York had been started at the northern
edge of the field In the direction of the village of ltraguth
