After spending eight days at the Wittstock training area, elements of the First Mechanized Division returned to their hone station in Doeberitz on 31 March 1951. 2. Trains carrying tank troops left Koenigsbrueck on each of the following dates for the destinations indicated: 29 March - one train for Riesa 30 March - one train for Leisnig 31 March - one train for Riese., one train for Chennitz 11 April - one train for Grimma, one train for Leisnig 12 April - one train for Chemnitz, one train for Riesa (1) 3. Preparations were made by the railroad authorities in Riese to move tank troops to Koenigsbrueck'about mid-April on six to eight trains. (2) 4. Several trains carrying a unit with ten rocket launchers left Halle for Thuringia on 5 and 6 April. (3) 5. A train with 15 T-34 tanks and vehicles belonging to the 25th Tank Division went from Loewenberg to Kremmen-Wustermark via Oranienburg on 10 April. Tank troops were loaded on trains in Prenzlau on 13 April for shipment in the direction of Berlin.
