REMARKS 25X1 B On 3 and 7 ttarch 1951, firing was practiced from nine sin le-engine air- craft with in-line 'ng s, three twin--engine planes and som Md1 l5 jet fighters at Neuruppin (N 53/Z 19) airfield. (1) The Fred numbers 18, 1.9, 2 22, 31 and 41 were observed on six MTG 1 s j also. the red numbers ;, 5 and 10 on three twin-engine aircraft, (2) The occupation of the field was unchanged up to 7 March 1951. Two single-engine aircraft with radial en ines three; biplanes, and nine M,i1G-15s. were counted: 25X1 B `omments. (1) To date,. no gunnery practice has been observed at the field. It is believed that only the I,,2G- i5s belong to the airfield. The singleTengine aircraft with in-line engines are probably. It-10s. On 19 February 1;1., four iL-10s were seen flying over the airfield. The aircraft probably came from an area west of Berlin where four ground attack. regiments are stationed. Twin-engine aircraft wire pvgviou:sly observed over :Neuruppin. It has not been determined at which airfield these planes are stationed.. The red numbers on the aircraft do. not indicate their assignment, (2) To date, fifteen different numbers have been identified on ITIG-15,s etatior ed (3) The number of aircraft observed at the field probably, does not represent, the total occupation. One fighter regiment: equi, pedd with 30 MTG-15s is believed to be stationed at the field. (1) The motor vehicle numbers belong to army units of the 12th Gds Tank Div, except for r3-0 -Ol'which is assigned to an air fa a ground. unit, previously stationed in Oranienburg, and B 7-66-401 which belongs to the fighter corps headquarters stationed in u~ittstock, at the field.
