There was intensive training activity at the Zeithain (N 52/E 81) troop
training grounds since early I'ebruery 1951. Newly arrived ;,ask troops
practiced with live aamaunition. piany tank tracks and chewed-up roads were
seen. AAA units stationed near the training area practiced firing at
sleeve targets towed by planes. The bursts observed indicated that light
and heavy AA guns participated in the firing practice,
