During February two important underground leaders.of the Communist .Party of Brazil [ were seen in Rio do Janeiro; The first of these, 14aurieio Crabois, (.) was reported ;.n August 1950 to be a member of the PCB National Committee. GGrabois was almost unrecognisable because of his c isguiae. The other Cor uan.iat leader,, Dinarco Reis, was undisguised and very uell dressed, 4, Reis was reported in March 1947 to be an alternate member of the 8 National. Committee, and in August 1-947 he had disappeared from Rio. According to source, Reis, a former Army lieutenant, has been given many secret and dangerous -nissions by the Party, which has always taken care to hide his identity ae, far allowing his picture to appear in its press. 3. While in Rio,, Grabois and Reis entered an office building at rua Ye: co, 25X1X the opinion that they went to see Dr. Aloisio Neiva F:i'ho, (2) a member of the P03 Metropolitan Committee who handles Party funds. 4.
