The Tenth Provincial Congress of the Partito Socialista Italiano (PSI:
Ita7"ian Socialist Party) was held in Bologna on 2 and 3 December 1950,,
preparatory to the National PSI Congress on 10 January, also in Bologr'a0
Attending the Provincial Congress were 315 delegates, representing
26,,000 members out of a total provincial PSI rrnm'bership of 29,48 6,, and
207 out of the 221 existing PSI Sections in the Bologna Province,,

In his speech on organizational rnatters, L : rlo Badini. stated that, in
the past two years ', the PSI has gained; 2,5;1', new Party members in the
Province of Bologna and that 53 new P.ii Sp,('. ions have been constituted,,

and exploit the present deteriorating it,r _ian economic situation so as
