In April 1950 YUAN Yao* was appointed by the Chungshan Military Control Commission (.Cc) as chief' of the action section under the Communist Special Commissioner in Lacao. This action group subsequently became notorious for blackmailing Kuomintang officials in ::acao and was officially disbanded by the U CC, but YUAN continued to be active. In August 1950, when the Fearl River Delta Safety Comuittee was organized to take over intelligence and foreign affairs activities, YUAN joined this group and in September returned to Chungshan to work in the CC. %. A battalion, consisting of ton sections, of underground agents has been organized at Shihch'i by the 6th iilitary Control Sub-D .st 'pctLIB" Tso-sen is cpmmander of this unit. L1ANG Cho ( fi ) , a native of Shuitung is section head at 'iiantsai, from where he sends men into ;cacao to observe the activities of political fij;kres. 3., On 2 January 1951 the Central end South China kilitary and Administrative Comcnittee sent HUANG Gheng-s.. en (I _ j; `I~,'~"' ) to Liaoao as head of an 18-ru~ia section charged with the wor.K of assassination. 'i., On 8 January 1951 G'U Hai, head of the action group of the Pearl River Distr'ct Director's Office, arrived in 1vaeao with his deputy, LO Tao-shen (.4Si e41 ), and 16 followers. 5.
