Prior to 22 November 1950 I I was quartered in a barracks installa- tion which comprised several quartering buildings and stables. It was located near the Kremnica (Q !9/C 55) railroad station. Staff Captain Nehak, (fnu), was the commanding officer of this unit, which had a strength of 80 to 90 men armed with rifles and submachine guns. The unit was equipped with 30 horse-drawn vehicles two trucks and one passenger car. The mission of the unit includes: the care of 120 studs and one-year-old foals kept in the stables of the barracks installation, and guard duties at the supply depot. From Kremnica, the horses were being: reassigned to other units, * 2. An SNB school was located in a large angular buildint; near the barracks installation in Kremnica. The thetructors of the school wore quartered in four tyro-story build- ings near the school. The courses at the scht,ul lasted three months and were attended;z,y about 200 trainees. The trainees were also assigned to guard duty at the sup ply depot. 3. A large underground supply depot, consisting of two galleries several hundred meters deep cnd interconnected by very long cross shafts, was located in a hill. 1 to 2 kin north- ortlnnst of the railroad station. Ar:-unition of various calibers, weapons and equipment wore stored in the depot. In July 1950, about 100 three-ton trucks loaded with various war materiel were unloaded at. the depot.
