The train density on the railroad line from Frankfurt to Brest-Litovsk has been doubled; it now averages some 16 or 18 trains daily. 5. No loading or unloading activities were observed in the Zossen-440nsdaxf area between 18 and 20 December, nor were any empty freight cars parlEd there. The Lutz Kaserne and the tank troops' training ground were still unoccupied on 22 December 1950, while the Hindenburg Kaserne was only pa ?tly occupied. The only vehicles observed there belonged to the GSOV.* However, all. barracks installations in WttnsdorP are being renovated, and the local authorities expect that they will be reoccupied early in February 1951. 6. The Ya.3aszewice marshaling yard**, which is the railhead for Russian broad- gauge tracks, will allegedly be ready for operation within three weeks. The bridge across the Bug River carries standard-gauge and broad-gauge tracks. The yard at Malaszewico is to be used mainly for trains carrying balk cargo., 7. The personnel of the locomotive columns stationed at Frankfurt/Oder were restricted to their quarters after 15 December.
