1. headquarters of a tams corps (number unl:nown) is in Olomouc (Olmuetz P O/N8S).
The Corps Commander is General Fusek; his deputy is Lt. Col. Emil Dolejsek.
The corps consists of three tank brigades and two supporting sub-machine gm
battalions as follows:

25X1 C a. 11th Tank Brigade, with headquarters at Vyskov (Ilischau
P5O/N71). Also located at Vyskov is a tank school, mere- 25X1 C
reserve officers and career non-commissioned officers receive training in
tank mar:"are. This tank school is not conducted by the 11th Tani. Brigade,
but is directly subordinate to the Gone,. al Staff c csmnand for tanks in Prague.
b. 12th Tank Brigade, with headquarters 25X1 C
located at Sternberk Sternberg- ,50 a , Olonoucka Street. Some of the

2. The folloui ng units are subordinate to the 12th Brigade:
25X1 C a~ 1st Tanl: Battalion, I I cora:-landed by Major Ploskunak, a Slovak
who served with the a ov k Army during 'iorld liar II, now a fanatic Comiuzist.
The Deputy Comaandcr is let Lt. Rsmbousek. The battalion is composed of
two tank companies commanded by Capt. Loraak and lst Lt. ??arabousek, and on
"pool company" (parkova rota) commanded by Lt. Tuma.
25X1 C . 2nd Tank Battalion, I I commanded by Staff Capt. Achymsly.
Deputy Corxnander is lst Lt. e a. This battalion is also composed of
three co,;lpanies, two tans: and one headquarters co'ipany.
c . 3rd Supplementary Battalion, with a strength of about 150 aen, The head-
quarters is located' with 12th Brigade headquarters in a cacerno at Stornbcrk.
The let and 2nd Battalions are located in a special uili.tary camp (sic) at
Sternberk.
Each tank coipany consists of three platoons. Platoon commanders are usually
tiax,eer non-commissioned officers who are frcq;iently rotated to other Jobs. Bach
platoon has three tanks of the recent T-34 type - T'izus, a company has te n tanks
including one for the company comer, and a battalion has thirty tacks and
one for the battalion commander.
The 12th Tank 3rlgade has two types of T-34 tanks available . The older type s
nkich is used for training purposes only, is armed with a 76 mm cannon and one
machine fun. The newer type, which is intended for combat use,, carries an
85 m cannon and two machine guns.
