SUPPLEMENT TO REPORT NO. 25X1X 1~ About 1200 armored force troops are located in a' barracks situated some 600 to 700 meters frcrz the edge of the city of Durres., across a main highway from the airport. The barracks consist of 10 to 12 masonry buildings, surrounded by a wall about 3 meters Ugh. The barracks area is guarded by fixed posts located atop concrete guard towers, and by roving patrols armed vrith automatic carbines and Nand grenades., Training is carried out on a field adjoining the airport.
