Five representatives from, the CDL(B) and one each from the Burma Chinese Chamber of Commerce, the Fukienese Association and the Cantonese Association, should formally welcome the new Ambassador at the wharf. e. The Ambassador should be taken on a tour of the Chinese area of R n oon before being taken to his residence. On 28 August, when the Ambassador arrived, posters calling on all Overseas Chinese to cooperate with the Burmese people and to make all-out efforts to wipe out the last vestiges of the Kuomingtang regime were conspicuously displayed.
