The main highway from Yongdungpo to Kimpo air base is torn up to make an underpass for a narrow gauge railroad at approximately (126511?25, 37-32). There is no bypass for the highway,* 4. There are two antiaircraft (AA) guns at the edge of Kimpo airfield, There are two AA guns on a sun=it on Wolmi?do, adjacent to the former U.S. communications building. !5o The NKPA is quartering troops at churches and schools in the belief that UN planes will not bomb such buildings. Adjacent civilian houses and other buildings are used for the same reason. 6. About 500 North Korean troops are quartered in a bomb shelter near the former Pucho n district goverment building at Inchon (126-39-40, 37=28-10). The quarters were chosen because of a fuel shortage and the fear of UN aircraft, 7o About two companies (250'men) are billeted in the basement of a former fruit market in front of the Sang Inchon railway station (1263&-109 37.2&'30).
