THIS IS UNEVALUATED INFORMATION
1a Training aids and technical manuals on the typo-15 stick hand grenade
and the type-44 submachine gun were distributed to transportation police
units by the Inspectorate of Transportation Police on 26 July 1950, *
2, Although an order was given to start the training immediately, the arms have
not been issued. They were allegedly still stored at the 1!;ast 0erlin police
headquarters.
3. To crate the Transportation Police have been armed with 93-I, carbines,
pistols and. 7.65-mra ;?alter pistols.
Comment. The type -15 stick hand grenade and type-1144 assault rifle
with rrnn short cartridges were standard arms of the German rimed Forces,
the ": turmgeviehr 41;" (assault model as rifle) being the latest development
in submachine guns.
