turned to Canton from an inspection trip to the airfield at Cantsao Island
(113-., 22_).,,.-., ? They ordered that more warehouses be constructed at the
field and facilities increased to accommodate a minim= of twenty trans-
ports. CIHUNIG reportedly said that the field not only could serve as a
supply station but would save time in supplyint;war materiel to the Viet
L ,inh, L .alay and the Philippines in the future.
2. On 16 August the 2 Anti -Aircraft Battalion of the Central and South Dis-
strict Air Security Corps moved the 6 Company I;attery from Hsi Tstun (~~
4--f ) Station, Canton, to the San Chf anC (=_~ A) area, Chuneslban (113--36,
22-22). The battery is equipped with 4 x 1 inch anti-aircraft (AA) Guns,
2 x 3,5 inch double-barreled AA Cuns and 1 small radar set.
