it The Sachsen urk in Radeberg has been instructed to manufacture home
television receivers for the USSR The order was for 6OO,()0O, fifty thousand
of which v ere to be made in. ,1950Q
2R1 It was at first intended to fit the sets with Russian tubev. Then the
Oberspreewerk (03W) was instructed to copy the Russian tube=s bit refused,
proposing that the corresponding 0611 tubes be used, and that slight
alterations be made to the design of the set if necessary. The Russians
eventually agreed to the proposals and the 0S`6'; is to deliver fifty thousand
sets of tubes this year.
3? Standard 0S;'d tubes are to be used, The ES 212, a tipping tube (Kippr8hre),
is being developed to match the only Russian tube for which.. there is no
