strasse, Vienna, on 2 and 3 Ju:1v 1950 The officers entered through the
main door of the building which nad been locked and sealed up to that ti:ne0
The telephone lines leading to the headquarters building, which had not
been removed when the headquarters ersoiLLel moved out, .ere still the reo
two years had been taken with the troops when they left for suer camp,
Only guard details were observed in the Trais4rchen (0 49/X 37) quarters
of the 45th Gds Metz Regto About 50 officers of various branches of service
were in one building.

were observed in the Trost Kaserne., tin 5 July 1950. None of the guns were
seen on 9 July 1950.
4. The motor vehicles of the motor transport company fr:m the garage on `indten--
strasse had not returned by 9 July 1950. Intensified maintenance work on the
motor ?vt;t i ^1.e> in.the park of the reconnaissance cunpany and the AAA company
was observed between 6 and 8 July 1950, bulork was also done on 9 July 1950,

9, Heavy boxes were unloaded at the regimental artillery depot in late
Jubv 1950.
10, About 10 trucks arrived. at the vacated quarters of the motor transport
battalion in the Albrechts Kaserne and ZTilhelms Kaserne between ~ and 9
July 1950. Numerous now fuel tanks and cans were seen in the battalion
fuel dump. Guarded reliefs checked the seals on the tanks. -~:
U. No military personnel were observed in the quarters of the medical bat-
talion of the Vienna divisors, Activities in the 1', Alekseyev Hospital
were, normal,
12. Tile 106th Gds liv Tank 3P Regt in Kagran tP 49/i 49) was still at its
post during the first week of July 19 50, Intensive maintenance work on
the armored vehicles of the regiment read been started in early July 1950.
There was an order that the minimum supply of fuel for the armored vehicles
had to be for 150 engine hours. The recuired fuel was on hand. A ship-
ment of fuel arrived on 6 July 1950.
13. Sonde tanks of the regiment had gone to the artillery range near Bruck
on the Jeitha River tiR 49/X 77) after the spring of 1950. A plan to
ship out elements of the regiment to a troop training grounds had been
dropped. *** Personnel of the regiment frequently criticized the American
tank arm. Pictures of U$ tanks circulated among them. The attitude of the
troops was one of a pronounced self-assuredness and belligerence.

troop training grounds of elements of the 13th Gds Mecz Div, including the
division headquarters from the Vienna area, 25X1 A

elements of the l0uth Gds Hv Tank 3Y Regt of the 13th Gds L, ecz Div in hagran
did not go to the Doellersheim troop training grounds but rotated at the Bruck
