1. On 18 July 1950 the oyuchow (111-19, 23-29) L-ilitary Control Commission
ordered the followin river steamers to sail toaacao instead of between
Nuchow and Shihohai (115-22, 22-30): TA RA ( ?/v~`~, )m, LI HIS1N (4;J 4* )9

2. On 6 August 1950 one of the above ships arrived in alaacao with 200 tons of
tung oil, soybeans, and Chinese drums. The weasel returned to auchow on
7 August with 3.000 drums of gasoline.
3. On 7 August 1960 the TA FA arrived in cacao loaded with industrial raw
materials for '1uohow.***

Comment. a vessel with the same name
sailing between Hong Kong and Swatow.
Comment. The original text was unclear. The reading as
given leaves the port of origin of the iri..ustriaal raw materials in
doubt. An alternative interpretation would be that the TA FA
arrived in L+iaoajo and took on a load of industrial raw materials for
ffuchow.
