1. An alert company (r_moto-seta) of 80 soldiers was activated in 25X1X
Karlovac (Y 12/K 25) in =:Iay 1950,
The unit had two light armored scout cars and an un-
determined number of trucks used as personnel carriers. The
soldiers were equirped with submachine guns and light machine
guns. Captain Leija Jovetic was the commanding officer.
2? It was said that units similar to the I'arlovac company were
to be activated in other military posts. These units were
responsible for the of sabotage expected to be
committed with the help of the neighboring countries still
within the Cominform.
In addition to the motorized alert companies, each battalion
kept stand-by groups alerted at. all times.
4. A reward of 10,000 dinars was odficially offered for the
apprehension of any saboteur.
