a house on the Black Sea coast near the lxport alaughterhouse0 The bouse
was surrounded by a barbed wire fence. Several lead-in wires ran from the

entrained in the Constants area in Mid-Llsry 1950 constitutes the first infor-
mation on Soviet troops in that area since early January i950-
It is not knows . whether the Soviet troops observed in Constants in early.
June 1950 were those who arrived by rail in May 1950 or whether they ilave
been stationed in Constants for long titue. In a report of Februaar;, 1950,
