a. On 2 June, 24 guns and motor vehicles of the First Mechanized Division were
loaded on two trains in DBbertiz and left toward `Tustermark, possibly for
field exercises.
bo" On 4 Jana, one south bound train carrying AA guns and motor vehicles of the
Sixth Guards AAA Division passed through Stendal, possibly returning from
Uhzstrow.
o. On 21 June, tanks, guns, and motor vehicles of the First Mechanized Division
unloaded from one train in DBberitz, possibly returning from field exercises.
2. Soviet Airforce 27.29 June: There was very little f yin{; activity of the 24th

ir Army. It cannot be determined whether this was due to weather conditions.
Changes in strength:
a. On 1 and 2 June, 2500 older troops arrived at Bad Freienwalde-, 1500 were again
shipped out toward Frankfln~t/Oder for doimobilisation.
b. On 3-6 3%ne, three most bound Rift -car troot, trains carzy-ing-recruits or
replacements passed through Ituestrino
c. On 5 and n Jane, two eastbouM Fifty--car trains coming from Jllterbbg and
Magdeburg moved through Rnestrin. Each car carried about 30 soldiers for
demobilization.
d. On 10 May to 10 Jane, 200 enlisted men up-to ardincluding sergeants of the
1924 and 1925 classes and all Jewish officers of an artillery unit- in the
Delius Kaserne, Potsdam, were shippedassy for discharge.
4. Transportation and supply: No essential information.
5. Information possibly indicative of war:.: preparations Late Mays Construction
