1. More than 50 oases of new bank notes for the Republik Indonesia Serikat
have arrived in Tandjungpriok. These notes were ordered from England last
January. Beret, spokesman for the Ministry of Finance, said that the new
bills would be put in circulation the end of May.
It is also reported that copper and nickel coins are being minted abr.u?d
for the RISC
