2. On 29 May the 3 Field Artillery Regiment of the 11 Artery composed almost

entirely of Japanese and Korean troops, arrived in Canton from Hainan and
Is now stationed near Liu Hua Ch%lao, in the northern suburb of Canton.
The regiment is equipped with 4 x 15cm howitzers, 5 x 75mm howitzers,
7 x 8 Inch field gunse It expects to transfer soon to Paoan Helen (113.56,
22-32)-
On 29 May eight small gunboats formerly stationed at Tien Tzu ( `V=) Pier,
South Bund, Canton, moved to Chungshan (113-36, 22-22).
4. On 3 June, one field artillery battalion of the 132 Dtvision0 44 Army,
equipped with 12 a 7.5cm howitzers, 20 x 60mm guns, 8 anti-aircraft guns,
and 8 rocket launchers, moved to Canton to Paoan Heien.
