in Jogjakarta. The Council at present is composed of the following:

2. Maruto Nitinihardjo is a Communist and a rationalist and a close follower
of Tan b lakaa, He is influential among the members of the Partai hakjat
and the .Partai Lturba, He makes excellent speeches in the Komite Nasional
Indonesia Pusat at Jog jakF.rta and in the P.epresentaative Assembly at Dja-
kartaa. The Djakarta branch of the Partai Murba was recently inaugurated
at his su;gestiono
