A.11 trees have been removed from a zone 5o meters wide which is located just b ind the frontie m i t .7Lf. Behind this zone to a depth of two kilometers all the homes,, with the exception of those occupied t the frontier guards, have been demolished. Furthermore, all suspect persons living within 20 kilometers of the frontier have been removed into the interior, and the homes of these afferrted persons are now occupied by members of the Militia. From 5 p..m,, to 7 ..m.. no road traffic is permitted, within 20 kilometers of the frontier. Along the border itself there is a military post of ten men at two kilometer Intervals., The post each have a tower where ' guards maint .n a constant watch.
