A new power station with three boilers has been under construction next to the old ncrier sta- tion since 1942.. One of the boilers was desi j ned for coal firing, the other two presumably for has firing, the gas to be supplied by the coking- plant located to the north. The coal boiler rias put in operation in late 1948; the other two boilers were schedi, led to be put into operation in early 1949.. It tp"e.s hot known whether th-- fixed time tar. gat as met. Tha plant has numerous spur tracks (see mnex) . a. .she existence of the Bakalstroi Iron and Steel Plant , about 7 miles north of C11-7LYABIN -, beta-peen the villa ;es of i`. .A.."?J-,EV0 and KRUGLOYE, was known before. Comment b. Exhaustive and correct information on all the installations 25X1 of this important plant can never be obtained fTojrTy ever, this report, Yhen compared with previous information, seems to furnish a correct picture of the Sereral distribution of the most important plant installations and gives credible details on the size and type of construction of the individual buildings. Of particular interest is the. statement on the construc- tion of a sevbnd rolling mill (Annex, No. 3). This confizris a previous report. An intended increase of the plant capacity can be inferred from the construction of this second rolling mill. d. Further information of a more recent date is required in order to clarify the picture of this plant. Annex: Metallurgical Plant . Bakalstroi' . ih.
