1. The Soviet authorities are reportedly preparing plans .for the formation
of a new tgirritorial unit, to be composed of Transylvania, the Rumanian'
and Yugoslav portions of the Banat and the Yugoslav Bachka. This
territoria unit would be placed under Soviet control.
2. Foreign Ainister Ana Pauker has reportedly agreed to the formation of
this tecritorial unit. Such a unit would be created after the overthrow
of the present Yugoslav Government. Soviet plans are said to envisage
a new Yugoslav federated state comprising Croatia, Slovenia, Serbia and
Montonegro. Macedonia would be combined with Albania. Enver Roxha
reportedly agreed to this plan during his last visit to Moscow.
