1. There was intensive flying at the Aspern (P 49/X 49) air-
field on 1 idarch 195O. Four planes ould take off at
short intervals and circle the field. It seemed thats
in this ways all parked planes were flown once. Twelve
rows, each with 12 or 13 twin-engine low-wing monoplanes
with double rudder assembly, were counted at the field.
Two semi high-wing monoplanes with radial engines single
rudder assembly and nose vtteel and 15 biplanes were also
seen. Thirty-eight twin-engine low-wine !ilonoPlaness inclunting
eight with two glazed tandem cockpits Baths were observed
flying. All th kilz.,nes which were clearly seen had an oval
window on both sides of the f sole e g closely aft of wines.
The following motor vehicle were secured:

woods about 800 meters from the airfiald At 11.00
a.m. The plane
was henvilv damaged but not burnt
One of the 3-man crew was cleat% one seriously
injured and the third unhurt. The latter prevented
civilians from rescuing the wounded person. About 10
to 15 minutes later the following motor vehicles arrived
at the scene:
