Two . tank cars were on the railroad spur track. There was much motor vehicle traffic betwe.'n the nirfield fflid the town. The radio masts shook cone5oxi -HUM siderably during very heavy wind.. small cantonment building was near the radip station on the northwestern edge of the lending field (for sketch of radio stations, see annex 2). 3, marrowegauge field railroad tracks, net yet bolted, were laid E-W across the landing field, 300 to 40O meters north of the approach road. A wooden cantonmem;'building, beside which were five or six dumpears, had been erected in the center of the landing field. An area about 25L meters vide bordering on the le nding field to the east wan cleared of timber and par- tially staked off. signboard with the inscription c?VVB Z Kard" was on the western edge of the landing field.
