Twenty-six single--engine low-wing monoplanes with in.-line engine, the same type as previously observed, were parked in front of the closed hangars of the Schoenwalde (N 53/Z 66) airfield on i$ December 1949. The engines and cockpits were covered with tarpaulins, The Soviet star was in a white circle. The figure 17 was seen on a plane` Two twin-engine low-wing monoplanes with double rudder assembly were parked in the eastern section of the field. Only the wooden cabin of the radio station west of the field existed, the four masts being removed. Thirty to thirty-two single-engine low-wing monoplanes with in-line engine, were parked in front of the closed hangars on 31 December 1949. The white figures 21 and 99 were recognized on two planes. There was no flying. Three twin-engine low-wing monoplanes with double rudder assembly flew at about 11 a.m. on 4 January 1950. The planes apparently have been parked in the two hangars east of the field. 4. About 25 single-engine lore-wing monoplanes were parked in two rows in front of the hangars on 7 January 1950, The engines and cockpits were covered with tarpaulins, The radio station was still without masts.
