The striking Hong Kong Tramways Company Union has received HK $10,000 from Communists in Hong Kong up to now. As this is not enough the Union has in- formed the Communists that it will arbitrate the strike unless more money is forthcoming. The Communists last November pledged Rt 5OQ?000 for str'!;kes In Hong Korb;. 2. Communist representatives from Canton have net with union representatives In Macao and have pledged their support to any labor activities in cacao. The Macao Labor Union Association, the Chi Kuan Copy %ployees Association, the Macao Government Doc1rards Association and, the Macao Utilities Unions were represented at the conference. The Government of Macao prohibits open labor activity, including strikee, until after a problem has been submitted fcor arbitration.
