SUPPLEMENT TO
At the end of September 1949, an important Viet Minh can-bo named
Duong Gia Thoai (Zuong Gia Thoai)* arrived at the Vietnam Delegation
on Sathorn Road, Bangkok.
2., Thoai was born about 1914 in Cochinchina and received a good French
education. Before and durinf the war, he was a teacher of French and
English in a public school in Saigon. In 1947, he went to Tonkin
where, until March 1949, he stayed in the same general area as Ho Chi
Pinh. IHe then returned to Cochinchina and in September 1949, came to
Bangkok to serve in the Delegation.
3. He is at present Secretary-General of the Administrative Committee
of the Delegation. He is also liaison man between the most important
Coohinchinese committee (that of Tran Van Giau) and the Viet Minh can-bo
in the Delegation (the Ho Chi Minh group)
4., He is held in high esteem by Nguyen Duo Cuy, Le Duy Luong**, and also
by Xom,
5 He is thought to be a member of the Indochinese Communist Party.
