1. The Badan Kontak Pemuda Indonesia Djakarta Raya (Greater Batavia Youth
Contact Committee of Indonesia) has been organized in Batavia. This
group is under the leadership of the laboneee extremist Tahalele, Sjamsudin
Sa*at, Harjouo and Sanjoto.
2. The total membership of the Pesindo is esthnated in Java to be 25,000 and
in Sumatra 5,000Q The West Java leader of the Peaindo is believed to be
Subagyo Sastrosatomo, Gunturtveg 23,. Batavia Centrum.a The leader in
Jogjakarta is Supeno. Special training in the Pesindo in Jogjakarta is
under Sujudi, .
4. More than 33 youth organizations on the 3.sicInd of Billiton have formed
a federation, Gabungan Pereatuan Pemuda Indonesia Belitung (Billiton
Federation of Indonesian Youth Associations) with headquarters at Tandjung
Pandan. The am of the federation is the promotion of nationalism. It
has about I?000 members.,

of 2,5OO. mostly middle school students.
