aircraft. Description: Slim: fusela ,,e, somewhat shorter than
the German He 111, single' ruddr'r assembly, vein 's in slight
dihedral, tricycle landing gear and tail wheel retractable,
Two fork-like rode, about 12 inches long, prof eeted from the
glazed nose. the ' speed of 'the craft was estimated at about
250 fiph.

Report does nyt furnish any clarifyin information on the
KALININ airfield and its occupi Lion. The bombers observed
in formation at the airfield, from their estimated speed,
are assumed to have been IL.4 aircraft, if the statement
on the sinle rudder assembl;, is net based on mistaken obser-
vation. The fact that jct aircraft were not observed is not
considered a refutation of former reports on this field?
