la Soviet parachute units arrived in LEPAYA (21?2'E/56032TN)
(Baltic MMD) in late December 1948. One unit of three hundred
raen was quar~ored in the corner fortress zone, anther unit of
four hundred in GROBIN-,peast of LE-P4YA, and three hundred others
were stationed in DtJRBE , northeast of LEPAYAQ The headguartors
of these parachute troops was in GROBI A iii early T axxuary 1949,
