a, Oil which was being produced by K 2 at'tLo rate of 120 tons per day,
ceased on 14 June 191.9. The bore was -s'_ot again, but this was effected
at tho exco^cive depth of 1720 meters, and the borehole is now producinrg
1000 cm of cater per hour. The bore will be reshot shortly.
b. K 3 is nroducing between 130 and. 160 ins per day.
F. 4 ha? bean successfully shot at 1850 Mersa Because of lack of piping.,,
however, the bore has been temporarily sealed and no analysis has yet been
taken. The pre; sure is octir.>c,ted at 9C atmospheres, the sane as K 5= In
view of this, the pressure will be utilized to drive oi.G - -c;iv
station at the :;atzon railhead. and no auxiliary pupping unit will be in-
stalled.
d, K 5 (as well as K .) was bored through four strata. I. is intended in
both cases to exhaust the strata at naximn depth before exploiting the
others. K 5 was reported to have been successfully shot at 2100 rioters,
but during additional drilling on 15 June 1949, the drill seized at a depth
of 1665 rioters and broke.
e. A chisel bit (I: issel~ is being used on K 6 and K 7 because of the stony
composition of the boring area. K 6 has been bored to 400 peters, and K7
to 250 rioters,
f. The drilling on K a has reached a depth of 1710 raters and will be con...
tinued to 1500 meters. Drilling, which proceeds at an average of six rioters
per hour, passed through an oil stratum which will be exploited at 1450 meters.
Piping for the K 5 borehole has arrived, and it was hoped to install it by
the end of June 191.9?
g.. The derrick from K 3 has been dismantled and erected again on K 10, a new
bore near Ollendorf,
