After Raving been refused refuge in the Argentine Embassy in "hjatlago., Bolivian
exiles-Juan Lechin and P?ario Torrez have eluded the Chilean Investiruciones per-
.,
aonnel and have disappeared. Friends of Lechin and "2orrez in Santiago say that
they are low in funds.. and that they intended to return to Chiflon and Taloa
respectively.
2. The Argentine Embassy refused to grant refuge to the Bolivian exiles upon in-
structions from Buenos Aires, Lechin and Torrez then proceeded to the Uruguayan
and Brazilian Embassies which also refused to give them asylum.
