(LISTED BELOW) SUPPLEMENT TO 1 Fedoric:o $olorzano _.ontiel, Nicaraguan ldviyer and revolutionist now residing in San Jose, Costa Rica, dispatched the following message on 11 May 1949 to General ..miliano Chamorro, the former Nicaraguan Conservative leader now exiled in Guatemala: "Possibly 62650SCO arrives plane tomorrow carrying four letters." 2 The plane referred to is,probably the converted B-18 bomber bearing Costa Rican No,. TI-205 which has been making frequent flights between the two countries, transporting revolutionary armament into Guatemala? The plane was scheduled to leave San Jose for Guatemala on 19 May, piloted by a "exjcan named Raul Vel..sco,, but was forced by motor trouble to delay its departure?,* The individual who is the subject of the above message cannot be identified from the coded text.. 3 Jsteban Rovira y Pacheco, Loyalist Spaniard and former henchman of Rosendo Arguello, Jr., stated that plans to attack Gencral Soxnoza in Nicaragua -;ere being made under the unified direction of General Sniiliano Chamo.;ro in Guatemala and General Carlos Pesos in Costa Rica, with the cooperation of the Guatemalan and Costa Rican governmentsa the part to be played by former leader Rosendo rsrgueli.o, Jr? was described r:.s uinor, to consist entirely of his cooperation and the use of his boat, the Toiloni, a former U.
