The following account of travel to neighboring countries by Cuban
revolutionaries interested in the Caribbean Legion is presented for the
sake of completing available records,
to XCruz Alonso and Juan Bosch, both active in Dominican revolutionary affairs?

revolutionary movement are unknown,

Socarras, was.in Guatemala where he reportedly discussed with President
1~revalo the possibility of creating an incident between Haiti and the
Dominican republic, Source asserted that Prio?s plan is to create an incident
that would attract the attention of the United Nations and ultimately result
in the elimination of President Trujillo as dictator in the Dominican Republic.
4? Another source stated that the alleged purpose of Henriquez' visit to
Guatemala was to obtain details of Guatemala's position in its claims to
Belize (British Honduras) et the Conference on Dependent Territories held in
Habana during ?larch 1949. Henriquez was to ascertain President Areva:.o?s
desires concerning the position he wished President Frio and Cuba to take.
