I. An anti-United States book, which is being sent front Argentina to the Argentina
Embassy in Santiago? is to be given restricted circulation by the Embassy,
according to Nestor Lisa Quintana, Argentine Cultural Attache?
2. The history of the Chilean Communist Party, previously reported as having been
undertaken by Lima Quintana, has now been practically completed.* However, it
now appears that this study is composed of biographical information concerning
Party leaders rather than information concerning the actual Party policy.
3e The return of Niguel Angel Guezales to Chile is considered by Lima Quintana as
very significant and as possibly presaging important Changes in the Argentine
Embassy in Santiago. Guesales had stated that he did not expect to return to

4. Embassy officials are married by the disappearance of one of the Argentine diplo.
matic pouches as well as the official Embassy awls. An investigation in now
being conducted in the Argentine Embassy to discover how this disappearance
