It is acknowledged by Nai Chirxghimself, and by his associates, that he is giving private lessons in Siamese to Serge S. Nemohina, the Soviet Minister.** This is not the full extent of the aeeoctaticm..- 2. Nai Chinda is a graduate of Assumption College in Bangkok, where he took a course in French, the language in which he converses with Nemchina. He received a law degree from the University of Moral and Political Sciences in 1139. He is a close associate of former Sahacheep Senators Nai Thienchai Apichatbutr and Nai Tai Panikabutr, both of whom are active in local labor circles. Nai Chinda is also associated'with the law firm of Kai Sawai Sutthiphitak, secretary to former Prime Minister Thamrong Nawasawatn 3. Nei Chinda is a quiet, intelligent studious man who can be characterised as a "bookworm." He is not one of the Pridi "inner circle" ana is un- popular with most former Sahacheep members because of his uncooperative attituae in the pre-November 19117 days, one illustration being his re- fusal to contribute to the Party treasury. Comment. The name "Nai Chinda Pundhumchinda" appears on all available lists of pre-November 1917 Sahacheep Senators. onment. Nai Chincla was elected Senator on 214 May lylo. n pril 1947 he attended an "anti-dictatorship" meeting which sponsored an anti Pibul rally on 7 April 19147 on the Phramane Gx,unds. On 211 May 1147, he gave an address on Radio Bangkok on the "Psychology of Fear." In July 19116, he was an unsuccessful candidate for the Constituent Assembly. In October 1948, he was named a member d tie law firm of Nai Sawai Sutthiphitak. This firm placed an ad in Socialism, Siamese pro-Soviet weekly. -Conmlent.
